From the factory the 9PA stack is a small display in a wall of keys, with the climate dials below. Our fascia replaces the radio section only, so the dials and button stacks stay where your hand already knows to reach.
What I see most often on these cars is a phone suction-cupped to the windscreen, because the factory screen has nothing useful to say to it. That's the awkward part of running a Porsche Cayenne today: the car still feels special and the dash is the one panel that doesn't.
I've fitted enough of these to know the trim is the part people worry about, and it shouldn't. The surround lifts away, the factory unit comes out on its own bracket, and nothing gets cut. I've heard the nightmare stories about generic double-DIN cages and hand-trimmed plastic; this isn't that job.

A marketplace listing costs less up front, but the photo rarely says which Android build is inside, or whether the fibre link for an amplified car is handled, which makes the comparison annoying to finish. So what separates the three? The loom and the version, not the glass.

Your phone pairs over the air and reconnects by itself, so there's no cable to fish out of the console on a Porsche Cayenne 9PA, and Android handsets get Android Auto on the same glass.

An ST7708 tuner with RDS, so station names still come through, a built-in DSP, and a TDA7851 amplifier IC over an RCA interface. The external microphone mounts up by the mirror, where it belongs. One honest limit: there's no HDMI output on this platform.
These units use the ISO 10487 harness pattern: the shape of the plug and the pin-out for power, ground, speakers and illumination. It doesn't cover your factory amplifier, your steering-wheel buttons, the vehicle bus or the antenna power feed. That's why we ask for the VIN. On an amplified car the amplifier sits on its own optical ring, and the loom has to match what your Porsche Cayenne 9PA 2002-2010 was ordered with.
Three screens do the work. The Android launcher holds settings and your own apps, CarPlay or Android Auto takes the whole panel the moment a phone connects, and the tuner gets a full-width radio page with preset keys along the bottom. The part that isn't your choice is the amplifier. Read the grille on your door speaker: no logo means the fibre link isn't needed, while a BOSE or a Burmester badge means the fibre link is required and the loom changes with it.
