On the LX570 the display sits above the centre vents, and the clock, the climate panel and the audio controls are stacked directly underneath it. Look closely at our install photos and you'll see that nothing below that line moves: the clock is still the factory clock, and the climate buttons are still the factory climate buttons.

What do owners complain about most on the factory setup? Not the build quality, and not the leather. It's the response time, plus a map that looks a decade old.
The interface has two faces, and you switch between them by tapping. The launcher mode puts Original, Navigation, Media and Phone along the top row and Apps, AutoLink, Dashboard and Setting along the bottom, with an analogue clock widget and a dash panel on the right side of the glass.
The second face is the driving view: a full-width virtual cluster with a speedometer dial, a tachometer dial and a digital readout between them, and it's the mode I'd leave on for long motorway runs because your eye doesn't have to hunt for the number.
Don't expect hundreds of skins. What you'll get is a launcher and a cluster view that fit a truck this size and stay readable in daylight.
